Built to make Existing Homes assessments easier.

Scan faster
Our proprietary LiDAR scanning workflow captures the home on site and turns it into a structured assessment model. Less measuring, less drawing, less double handling.

Reduce manual input
Start with sensible defaults and change what’s actually different about the home. Less repetitive input, without giving up control.

Only one tool
Capture, evidence, model, optimise and manage the job in one place, instead of moving between a scanning app, photos, spreadsheets and separate job tools.

Bring your jobs with you
Import existing jobs and carry on from where you left off, then export structured job information whenever you need it. No lock-in.

Optimise, don’t just rate
The rating tells you where the home is. Test interventions and compare their impact without rebuilding the model every time.

Real support when you need it
Onboarding to get your first assessments moving, then direct access to people who understand the workflow rather than a generic support queue.
One assessment. Two ways to deliver it.
The Existing Homes model is evolving to support two pathways.
Accredited Assessor
Work with the homeowner from inspection through to rating.
Collect the evidence, complete the assessment, produce the certificate and provide upgrade guidance, all within the same workflow.
Assessor + Data Collector
From 2027, accredited assessors will be able to engage an accredited Data Collector to collect the information and evidence in the home on their behalf.
The assessor then reviews the information, completes the assessment and produces the certificate and upgrade guidance.
The accredited assessor retains full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the assessment and rating, even where a Data Collector is used.
Collected by one person. Reviewed by another. Nothing gets lost in between.
We’re getting ready for both. Our upcoming trials will test how MyCool Home can make the handover between on-site collection and assessor review clear, traceable and efficient.
From front door to completed assessment.
Capture the home, complete what the scan can’t know, assess and optimise, then keep every job moving from one place.
Software when you need it. Humans when you need them.
Existing Homes is new. There will be unusual homes, difficult evidence calls and workflows nobody has encountered before.
You’re not being handed software and a knowledge base.
We’ll help you configure the workflow, import existing work and get your first assessments moving.
When something unusual appears, talk to someone who understands the workflow rather than a generic support queue.
Feedback from assessors and Data Collectors feeds directly into how the product evolves.
This is especially important right now because the scheme itself is new.
Existing Homes may be new, but we aren’t new to making building-performance information easier to use.
MyCool Home is developed by Hubble, working across residential energy efficiency, thermal performance and property technology.

Avoid the second visit.
Get consent, documents and access sorted before you leave the office. On site, MyCool Home keeps track of the evidence that is easy to forget.
Manage every job in one place.
Enquiries, bookings, assessments and certificates in one pipeline.
Your pathway into Existing Homes.
Accreditation is granted by your assessor accrediting organisation, not by us. We provide the tooling and the training material.
- 1

Accreditation is currently via Design Matters National. Fees are subsidised for existing accredited Existing Homes assessors and transition trainees until at least 30 June 2027, with 150 subsidy places for new trainees.
- 2
Learn the workflow
Recorded walkthroughs following the standard in the order you meet it on site.
- 3
